The Awakening, East Potomac Park in Washington, DC• Fall 2005

I guess this gives new meaning to "seize the day."
 This sculpture, by J. Seward Johnson, Jr. was placed at Hains Point for the 1980 International Sculpture Exhibition and Conference. Whatever its history, it's way cool.
